UK allows Muslim nurses to not wash to protect their "modesty"
The UK Department of Health recently announced that it would loosen hygiene rules for Muslim and Sikh doctors and nurses. From now on, Muslim female staff will not need to wash their hands before procedures as it compromises their modesty. Instead, they will have the admittedly less sanitary option of wearing disposable plastic over-sleeves.
Acknowledging the danger of microbes and death, a Department of Health spokesman said, “The guidance is intended to . . . balance infection control measures with cultural beliefs.â€Â But, believe it or not, from a culturalism perspective, the death of some patients is not the main cause for concern that this policy elicits.
The most dangerous problem is that this policy encodes multiculturalism not culturalism. Whereas culturalism acknowledges that England has a majority culture to protect and promote, this multiculturalism policy implicitly says that England has no core culture. It says that the nation can be whatever pressure groups decide it is. It, therefore, officially ends the dominance of English culture in England.
A 25-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a home naked through the doggy door before found by the homeowners sitting in their bathtub.
Sara Elizabeth Soto told police she had done nothing wrong and was just trying to use the phone when she was arrested in Weatherford, Texas around 1.45am on Tuesday.
A woman living at the home said she was inside with her husband when he heard a noise, leading him to find the doggy door damaged.
The homeowner told officers he doesn't have a dog but figured an outside animal had entered through the tiny entry.
It was then they found Soto, described as 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds in the police report, in their bathroom.
Arresting officers say she was sitting inside the bathtub naked.
Her black dress was discovered on the back porch which they brought to her to put back on.
Soto was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass and criminal mischief. She was being held on $4,000 bond as of Tuesday evening.
I like my women like I like my dogs - able to fit through doggy doors. On a side note, nowhere in this news story did anyone use the word 'alcohol'. I'm confused.

The group's president, Toby Walker, called a local hotel and secured a room for the wives and families of first responders. Wives and mothers began to receive updates from the front lines as they charted a course of action for the following day.
Local distribution centers were identified and the conservative networks were activated to volunteer and help operate the collecting, sorting, and distribution of needed items. Breitbart News' own Brandon Darby was asked to go and help with the efforts.
Darby had extensive experience with relief efforts in post-Katrina New Orleans and now runs Citizen Patriot Response, a group that mobilizes Tea Party and other liberty-minded groups to help communities in need. Darby began sorting through the fog of disaster and reporting the facts to the public-at-large shorty after last night's tragic accident.

Hollywood stars are now quarreling with environmentalist wackos....Why? Take a guess....
Yup, you got it: Because the environmentalists are threatening the property owned by Hollywood millionaires.
Steven Spielberg, Robert Redford, Dustin Hoffman, Goldie Hawn and Pierce Brosnan are among 108 homeowners along the 1.2-mile beach, where houses sell for up to $30million. When most of them were built in the 1970s, the owners had to walk 140 feet in the sand to reach the surf. Now, at high tide, the waves crash against an 8-foot-high emergency rock barrier.
Though the stars want to spend their own money to rebuild the beach with sand dredged from the ocean floor, regulators have blocked the plan. Environmentalists prefer a "managed retreat" from the waves so the shore can revert to its natural state.
Maybe someone should tell these environmental nut jobs that the natural state of nature is desolate wilderness.
Then again, they probably just prefer we all be homeless.

During the past few days and weeks, VP Joe Biden has been passing out advice on how to use a shotgun--the problem is, much of what he has advised is against the law. Virginia Beach resident Trevor Snowden found this out the hard way when he fired "a shotgun through the door" and faced charges for "reckless handling of a firearm."
The 22-year old Snowden fired through a door after seeing two masked men by a window of his residence.
It was during an interview with Field & Stream that Biden said one of the pluses of using a shotgun for home defense over an AR-15 is that you can "just fire the shotgun through the door" to keep people away from your house.
The problem with this advice, as Trevor Snowden discovered, it that using a shotgun in that manner is illegal.
This goes right along with Biden's suggestion that homeowners randomly fire shotguns into the air to scare off intruders--after all, that is what he tells his wife to do if she hears someone outside when he's not home. Yet firing guns into the air within city limits is illegal as well.
When it goes to court, he just needs to go with the "Biden Defense", if "Twinkie Defense" can work, why shouldn't taking the advice of the second most powerful man in the world work?
Megan McCarthy's CBS sitcom, Mike & Molly, is being called offensive by a Native American group.
In case you missed it, Mike's mother on the show -- an Archie Bunker type -- says, "Arizona? Why would I move to Arizona? It's nothing but a furnace full of drunk Indians."
The joke isn't sitting well in the Native American community. A rep for the Navajo Nation tells reporters, "For a show like this displaying us in a negative light is just unacceptable, they are taking a shot at the entire state of Arizona and its indigenous people."
Truth is - they're right. Alcoholism is a huge problem in Native American culture. But, you know family friendly CBS wouldn't dare make a statement like this about the black community's love affair with crack, malt liquor and purple drank.
On a side note, I'm also offended by CBS, but not for racism...I'm offended that they put shows on TV like the Big Bang Theory...probably the dumbest show every produced - and they call it a comedy. Does anyone actually think that show is funny? Can you introduce me to that person? I have a few words I need to share with them.

And merchants were shocked to see the broad sweep of the new rules. Typically, a pizzeria charges $3 for a 2-liter bottle of Coke. But under the ban, customers would have to buy six 12-ounce cans at a total cost of $7.50 to get an equivalent amount of soda.
Spending $300 on a bottle of vodka at a NY hotspot no longer entitles you to a full complement of mixers. The carafes in which mixers are typically served hold 32 ounces, and the most common mixers - sodas, cranberry juice and tonic water - will be limited. Only water and 100 percent juice will be unlimited. At least we know he won't be banning extra large sized douches. He'd have to leave.
A recent study shows that of all the big cities in America, Washington DC boasts the highest concentration of high-income households. 14.1% of the households in that area have an income of at least $191,469.
Other big cities that followed closely behind were San Francisco, New York, Boston, Baltimore, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Honolulu, Philadelphia, Anchorage, Houston and Chicago [in that order].
Small cities with a large concentration of high-income households [in order from highest to lowest] are: Bridgeport [Conneticut], San Jose, Trenton [New Jersey], Oxnard [California], Boulder, Napa [California], Santa Cruz, Midland [Texas], Santa Barbara, Hartford [Connecticut] and Santa Rosa [California].
At the other end of the scale, Southeastern states including Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee unsurprisingly had the lowest concentrations of high-earning households.
And two cities both named Danville, in Virginia and Illinois, had the lowest concentrations of wealth per household, with 1.1 percent of homes in the areas achieving the top tier of income levels according to the Census.
