The Kinks’ guitarist Dave Davies is set to release a new album, Open Road, and while we’re used to seeing him with his brother Ray, he’s got a new collaborator by his side—his son, Russ. It’s no Kinks reunion, but we’re still all for it!

Together, the father-son duo wrote “Path Is Long,” which will be featured on the upcoming albumset for release on March 31. Give “Path Is Long” a listen below.

Who is Russ Davies, aside from being the son of a Kinks member? The younger Davies is already an established EDM musician (AKA Abakus), so this collab with his dad is done in a much different style than his solo work.
